One Hanson Place, aka Williamsburgh Savings Bank, Fort Greene. Built by Halsey, McCormick & Helmer in 1929 - until today the tallest building in Brooklyn. The skyscrapers ground floor banking room features ornate Romanesque Revival design and magnificent 40-ft high arches. A bookstore which wanted to move into the main hall in 2007 bowed out. Since then the gorgeous place is availbale for mixed use like private parties and on the weekends for the Brooklyn Flea. Don't forget to visit the the massive vaults in the underground and the beautiful view from the mezzanine!

And make sure to to check out my set Williamsburgh Savings Bank.
