Leopard - Cat Haven Series, 2 of 11
On the way down the mountain from a Mountian Memories YMCA weekend, I stopped by what seemed to me to be an obscure cat sanctuary.
To my delightful surprise, and after paying $8.50 admission, I enjoyed a very nice one-hour "tour". A very small group of us were guided through a quarter mile walk on a natural trail through pines and manzanita.
We took our time as we enjoyed being "up close and personal" with these beautiful animals. We were provided with detailed information about all the cats and the countries from which they come.
I'm no expert, but all of the animals appeared to not only be healthy, but they looked content. Many of them came to the fence to check us out.
It was the perfect ending to a perfect weekend!
I may come back and add further information relative to each individual cat... (little short on time these days).
