Active Assignment Weekly April 30 - May 7: Before Cooking
WIT: I love omelettes, and asparagus and mushroom are a couple of my favourite ingredients to make them, and I like to add this pink salt, as it's a bit milder and goes nicely in the mix. Set up the cutting board on a tablecloth from Provence, close to the window; I wanted to try to keep to Provencal colours, so I used a blue bowl for the eggs. I then arranged the ingredients, and shot it. In post, just a crop to 8 by 10, and slight tweaking of colours - I like to try to keep food shots as natural looking as possible.
