orly toast the couple
I want this polish to be something it's not - namely, Sally Hansen diamond strength in pink toast, which is a perfectly soft sparkly pink but in the worst formula of all time. The SH polish got great reviews on makeup alley so I wonder if I just have a bum bottle or what. Basically my problem with the formula is that it will NEVER EVER DRY. Even when you apply a quick-dry top coat, it's like the top is dry and it's just floating on this gelatinous mess, so the mani looks real bad in about 2 seconds.
Also, apparenlty I love pink nail polish with names that relate to champagne.
The Orly is frosty instead of sparkly, which is fine except for the super visible brush marks. This stuff goes on pretty opaque, though, so I may try doing a coat of this and then putting a coat of the Sally Hansen over it. This is the first Orly I've used, and I do really like the formula, but most espectially the brush and its big fat rubbery handle - so easy to apply!
