contortionist pose with ishbel

I can't wait to see the google searches that'll bring people to this picture. OR NOT. Also, I'm not a big fan of triangular shawls worn all drapey like this - it's fine for other people but it's just not really my style - but this shot really shows how nice and drapey this turned out. Love it.

I did large stockinette and small lace on this. The yarn is hand-dyed by Laura (sold in her etsy shop)and it is fan-friggin-tastic.

      Lauren! This is gorgeous!
I don't wear mine like that ever. I prefer it wrapped around my neck.

that really is the most gorgeous pink.
i've started doing the drapey thing, makes me feel like I should be sipping tea and speaking with a british accent.

That yarn is gorge. And I've been meaning to ask you - did you make this for a particular occasion?

haha my mom totally asked me the same question. No, I didn't make it for a particular occasion! It's almost the exact same color as the dress I'll be wearing for our wedding, which would be a little weird, I think.

    17. GirlReaction 70 months ago | reply

I don't think that would be weird at all. Matching can be good at weddings.

      thanks again all!!

heh yeah I keep remembering some people want things to match at weddings. Eh.
