Sunnydale High School courtyard

This is the courtyard of Torrance High School, familiar to fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think the weirdest part for me was realizing how scarily well-recreated this is in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game for Xbox.

I swear this is the same high school they used in Beverley Hills 90210.

It is the same school, you're right. It's also shown up in a couple of movies.

how did you get in there? Do they let outsiders inside? I live like 1 hour and a half from torrance and still have yet to see sunnydale high.

As I'm remembering it, there's direct access to the courtyard from the street -- you just walk around behind the building and up the steps and there you are. Things could be different. No one seemed to mind that we were there. We certainly didn't track anyone down to ask permission. Of course, we went during the summer so there weren't very many people around, just a few people staffing yearbook pickup in the auditorium. It's probably a different story during the school year.

You rock! I just used this photo in a fake image I made of me and a friend of mine in the 90s (fake because she grew up in Australia, and I grew up in Canada!):

Little known fact: I attended Sunnydale High School with Lulu
