258 WEST WALTON St Mary

The first thing you see when you visit this church is not the church but its beautiful Bell Tower sitting to the south of the low laying parish church of West Walton, the church is early dating from the early 1200's, the tower itself is later.

The aisles were widened in the 14th century but the 13th century porch remains and is a fine piece of architecture, the windows are original and the clerestory has small widows though most of them are blocked up.
