220 BINTREE St Swithin

This churches tower is a familiar landmark for those travelling west on the Norwich to Fakenham road, the handsome church with the early 14th century tower having nice pinnacles on top, the body of the church is probably 13th century, with south aisle and transept, constructed in the 1200's.

The north wall has some 12th century work on it, though the north aisles is later, the chancel was rebuilt after a fire in 1764, but only to half its original size.
