68 HECKINGHAM St Gregory

One of Norfolk`s Truly wonderful churches, St Gregory at Heckingham is almost all Norman like its close cousin at Hales, which is more original than this, and very similar Fritton close to the Suffolk border, the small size and thatched roof make this seem quaint and rustic, the characteristic round tower has been modified, the lower third is round classic Norman and the top two thirds is late medieval, the church boasts a great Norman south doorway
