93 LONGHAM St Andrew and St Peter

St Andrew and St Peter church in Longham is located on a couple of miles from the superb cruciform church of St Mary Gressenhall near Dereham, sitting in the middle of Norfolk, the view on three sides is rolling fields and is a long way from its village, and on a nice day its beautiful.

The 15th century tower was reduced in height in the 1700's because it was deemed unsafe, and from the east the tower looks very wide and squat, this is due to the buttressing being right angles to the tower, and the boxy chancel was rebuilt in 1867.
