Faux Choc Chip Hot Cross Buns

Why do I call these faux? Because these are not hot cross buns, they are hot cross muffins. What a clever idea for those who are still afraid to work with yeast (like me).

 

Recipe from the April 2010 issue of delicious. magazine, and altered to omit dried fruit and replace with chocolate chips.
