Martha's Giant Chocolate Sugar Cookies

    Mmmm, a chocolate lover's paradise! From Martha Stewart's COOKIES book; I used melted shortening, FYI, as I read that this would result in a higher, puffier, chewier cookie. And be sure not to over-bake! Take them out of the oven before they look done; if they look done in the oven, then they have been over-baked.

      Hi James, I'll be back in Sydney late next month! We should get the old gang together again sometime (Jarod, Tracey, you, me, but unfortunately minus Amanda since she's in Canada now) and I'll bring along some cookies! :)
