    One of the side effects of all the rain and flooding in the Midwest is an overabundance of mosquitoes. The bitin' varmints are thick this year. Sacrificed myself in the name of art.

      Or hungry. Just for the record, no bugs were harmed in the making of this photo. I shook him off when I was finished shooting. Besides, there were several dozen waiting for their turn.
