This is it.
I took this on a bridge that connects two cities together - Lafayette and West Lafayette. I literally walked across the whole bridge to find the best angle and it was quite the predicament on choosing the best one. I remembered the first time I was on this bridge in July when I only had my 50mm lens on me so I finally had the opportunity to take it with my kit lens. Hopefully later in the year I can finally get that 17-85mm f/4-5.6 I've been dying to get to replace it.
Today also marks the last day I would be spending with my family, whom have been fully supportive of my photo a day set, and more importantly, my college transition and success. Tomorrow, I move in to my dorm and start my college life which is quite a big step in my life, and probably not the most opportune time to do a photo a day set so I'm glad I got to experience it now. Thanks kuya Jon jon (rage_cat) for inspiring me to do this!
Looking through each of the 365 photos i've taken this year, I can recall each moment, each shot I took and why I choose each photo. I've had my good days, my lazy days and my bad days. This set holds some of my greatest work and some of my worst. I've learned a lot this year and I really just had an all around positive experience regardless of my frustrations with photo searching and post-processing. Throughout this whole year, I didn't get sick of photography like I initially thought I would, but I learned to appreciate it more and to just enjoy my life. I am more motivated to continue with it than the last time I attempted photography years ago (middle school to be exact) and I'm also looking forward to doing another photo project in the later months. I have don't what else to say really but thanks, to all of you.
I started this year moving to a new place, going to a new school, and trying new things. Now this year, I plan to do the same and more.
So here it is, my life, one photo for each day, for a whole entire year.
