Haweswater from Banstree, Late Evening

Newer Older

After a walk up from Wet Sleddale Reservir to our bothy, we decided to carry on up to Branstree. It was late evening and while thinking there wasn't much to photograph I just got my compact Canon S90 out and snapped this when I finally got into view of Haweswater.

I don't suppose the bothy in question was Mosedale cottage..........I spent a night there a few years ago ..a cracking place with an amazing stove ....not corgi registered but boy did it throw some heat out.

Just goes to show it's the person behind the camera and not the camera that takes the picture.
    Beautifully positioned image well presented.
    Great light capture.
