      You must have been protected somewhat to get a sharp picture at 10 seconds? This one is quite unusual, very nice!

      kuskulana steve - yeah, long exposure is the best way to photograph the northern lights, so a decent tripod is a must. i went out with another photographer (who does this in norway for a living) and he set me up with all the right settings.

      Oh, I'm so jealous! Unfortunately, I have never seen an aurora. This must be a fantastic experience
