pliers (and cutters) are a girl's best friend

Not that I've been making any jewelry lately, but if I were, these would be the things I'd use. Among others. These are the major players.

In case you're interested (and even if you're not), clockwise from top: wire cutters, crimping pliers, roundnose pliers, wire cutters, nylon-nose pliers, micro crimping pliers (for small crimp beads, obviously).

The end.

Hah! From my quick glance at the thumbnail I thought this was a picture of a passion flower blossom at first.

Apparently, it's not. But I have been taking passion flower pictures all morning.

I thought it was jumper cables. Perhaps that says something about the state of my car?

Yeah, when I was thinking about what I was going to shoot for the project (Utata Tools of the Trade), I had a couple of staplers and a handful of Sharpies and some Post-Its (which I love, by the way, because I love office supplies) and I thought... wait, I have TOOLS!

I've never hurt myself with these, but I have stabbed myself in the hand with sharp bits of silver wire when I was doing wirework more times than I can count.

So then I can return these diamonds I'd bought for you?
  • jamelah e. PRO 9y

    Well.... no. Heh.

The one at the bottom is good to cut poky wires if you have braces and the orthodontist is closed :P
