    This is the table that I built for our home office. The table is 96" long by 40" wide and holds a backup battery and all the cables under the top. Only one power cord hangs down from the table. I took my inspiration from the tables found in Apple stores.

      The primary wood is Walnut, I used maple for the frame in order to carry the load better.

      It looks amazing. What did you use to finish the wood, if you don't mind me asking?

      The finish is a water based polyurethane called Polycrylic, its made by Minwax. (Satin)
      The stuff is wonderful, it stays clear over time and is relatively tough plus you can re-coat years later with only a light sanding.
