Cayuga Terrace - April 2003 - Remodel Project

Although we kept the original cabinets, they were in horrible shape. The prior owner was a German gymnast from the 50's and she was tiny so the cabinets were very low-to-the-ground. We had to build them up about 6". We sanded, primed, and painted them white and installed new hardware. We also installed reeded glass panels to the cabinet doors. You can't really tell but the walls were covered in brown paper bags. J tore the bags into small pieces, wadded them up, smoothed them out a bit, and then pasted them on the wall using wallpaper paste. He finished by glazing over them. It was beautiful.
