Jacobs Tornado Bell

In the 1940s, the Jacobs Wind Electric Factory was struck, for a second time, by a tornado. The idea for an alarm grew from this experience. The alarm used a diaphragm to sense rapid drops in pressure associated with the approach of a tornado.
