Fays Theatre ad, November 26, 1916

    Newer Older

Fays Theatre, Providence, formerly the Union Theatre, opened under the name of Fays on November 18, 1916. Until April 28, 1917, it would show only films. In the following April vaudeville acts, for which the theatre became famous, would be added and maintained for decades. Here the ad has an apostrophe in Fay's. As time went on it would be generally omitted.
