Finally 360

It was not long when I was looking over the internet for some best panoramas around when I come across some 360 Degrees pano... Most were taken using wide angle lens. Something like this: Panorama. Which became my inspiration to produce this image.

Last weekend when I was wandering in the slopes of Mukshpuri Top; The second highest mountain of the Galyat Region in Pakistan, I observed that opportunity, and grasped it.

I had my 40 - 150 mm lens attached, so I gave it a shot... To create a perfect above 360 Degrees I had to take around 30 over lapping shots, after locking down the focus & exposure.... That was the easiest part, the main task was to merge them into a panorama. It took my eight hours, and some heavy processing by Photoshop to create small panoramas and then merging them down into a single shot. The file size reached around 1.2 GB, and machine became dead slow... A new file type "PSB" was the only way to save such a large image...

The long strip like image above is one of my most desired work in the Pano-Vertorama efforts.... I hope you would like this effort of taking full 360 Degree view from the slope Mukshpuri. Just on black
