GY6 150cc Scooter
About a month ago I bought a small 50cc scooter from a friend. Not only was economical (80mpg) it was a super fun to drive back and forth. Being a smaller motor, I was limited to just staying around the local area. Last week I decided to upgrade to something bigger. I opted for a chinese branded scooter. There are downsides and upsides with scoots. One of the upsides is that they are very inexpensive. I bought this one used for $850. The downside is if they are not properly mantained they can fail. Thru my research though I have learned that most all chinese scooters are based off the same GY6 engine which makes maintaining a little easier as there are so many resources. Here is a quick shot taken with my manual focus 135mm f2.8. I hope to get a chance to take a proper picture one of these days.
For those who are wondering about the blog, I do plan on updating it. I have just been slacking lately. Stay tuned.
