Moonrise at 'The Fortress' - Bryce Canyon

Moonrise at "The Fortress" - a Bryce Canyon National Park formation (about 750 feet across). Note: Pleiades (the "Seven Sisters" constellation) and Jupiter (the brightest "star"). I have artificially lighted The Fortress from a distance of several hundred feet to make it appear as if the light was coming from the moon. The moon was only at a crescent stage (about 12%), or it would have overpowered all of the stars (it appears to be a "full" moon, only because of exposure "bleed". This photo was taken with my Canon EF 24mm f1.4L II lens, mounted to the Canon 5D Mark II. Exposure: ISO 1600, f2.0 @ 15 seconds with 10 seconds of incandescent light from a 2 million candlepower halogen lamp (lighting synchronized with the help of a Canon TC-80N3 Timer Remote Controller).
