Earth and North America from Space - digitally restored

No, I didn't take this photo, but I did restore it! (Compare to the scratched and faded original.) This earth from space photo comes from a digitally enhanced, 1972 NASA Apollo 16 Mission negative - one of the last manned flights at this distance (10,000 miles, or 16,000 kilometers). This is a restored historic photo, not a computer generated image or a false color satellite composite. (Satellite and Space Shuttle images are only taken from about 150 to 300 miles above the earth.) This is the "real McCoy" -- a real photograph, taken by an astronaut with a hand-held Hasselblad camera!
BTW, in the early days of Photoshop (PS v. 1.0-2.0 -- 1990-1992), I personally went to the NASA archives, scanned some of their best images, digitally restored them, and licensed them to the world (making a good share of my income for several years). For instance, General Motors once paid $8,800 to license one of my restorations (which are copyrighted "derivatives" of the original).
