    This is wonderful- reminds me of the first night we were on our walk out of Landmannalaugar to Þórsmörk (in Aug 2007 with perfect weather to boot).

    It's at Fimmvörðuháls, where two fissures opened up in late March/early April as a prelude to the big Eyjafjallajökull eruption.
