Chocolate Bread Pudding

12oz stale + toasted bread with 1/2c raisins, awaiting chocolate custard (3 eggs, 4 yolks, 1/2c sugar, 6oz semisweet chocolate, 1c heavy cream, 1c whole milk).



I had 1/3 loaf of stale, multi-grain Tuscany bread (love!) and called up this recipe for chocolate bread pudding from A Baking Blog that I made last year, but never documented. Anyways, the recipe is very simple, not too sweet, quite filling...and great for obliterating loaves of stale bread.


I followed the recipe, except I used semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/3 loaf multigrain Tuscany bread, and 1/3 loaf white Tuscany bread...all in a 9x9 glass dish.
