The Life I Imagined, Grand Teton National Park
I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

Capturing images of the Moulton Barn in the Grand Teton National Park has always been one of my dreams and I was thrilled when Mountain High Photo Workshops announced their Teton/Yellowstone workshop.
You can imagine my disappointment when we arrived to find the Teton Mountains shrouded in clouds and a steady drizzle clouding the sky. Obviously we could not capture the perfectly composed, iconic side view image with the Grand Teton backdrop, and there would be no magical sunrise or lovely alpenglow on this day.
Taking the opportunity to teach us during inclement weather our instructor, James Neeley...the Yoda of my photographic journey...suggested that we setup our cameras and find an image.
Just as in the life I imagined, rainbows and golden light followed. Success after the sunrise, during the common hours!
Mountain High Workshops has announced their fall workshop in the Eastern Sierras, October 5-9. Check out their webpage
