The Missions to Seamen (Seafarers) 1917 | Melbourne

The main part of the building has been built in what's known as a Spanish Mission revival style. The central section is apparently an English arts and craft style and the old gymnasium is a very unique domed structure (right side). You'll find the Mission at 717 Flinders Street, Melbourne close to the Yarra river and the Docklands. The organization how now changed its name to "Mission to Seafarers".

This is simply processed from a single exposure only softening the highlights and contrast. The light in Melbourne is so wonderful, I miss those blue skies.
