'Living' Museum / Chinatown (Yaowarat) / Bangkok

During a backstreet exploration of Bangkok's Chinatown district (Yaworat) I came across this fascinating noodle shop in totally original condition (including the proprietor)!

It's no wonder that many period HK and Chinese movies are shot in Bangkok's Chinatown.

Great photo and shop. I visited this area two years ago after reading in the local daily paper that the area is due to be re-developed. Some of the buildings are the oldest in Bangkok, as your photo above shows. I'll be there again soon, a fascinating area to record. All the best.

Unfortunately, this placed has now closed maybe because the old man who ran it has passed away.
