To the man who did it
We (Yoko and Jake and la Monse and me) were celebrating the definitive victory of the Mexican armed forces over the French invaders, on May 5 1862, with a flickrshooting stroll through Omori and other places Jake highly appreciate for their offering of flower macro possibilities. Omori, where part of the ruins of the Iwami Ginzan Silver Mines (a Unesco World Heritage candidate) are situated, is a small town dating back 700 years and now belonging to Ohda city, in the center of Shimane prefecture. This photo was taken in the small Eisenji temple, not a highlight but a lovely place. See the slideshow.
