Palace of Education
Hamberg is a waning town in North Dakota with a population that peaked at 300 sometime in the first half of the last century. Down to about 20 today, most people either left looking for greener pastures or got old and died. The town's only school, pictured here, has about six times the area of the town's second biggest building (the only church). Today, there are no children left in town, and this building is abandoned and in very poor state of conservation.
