l give the peaceof which the angels sang. This with joy in your hearts, joythat only Christmas can bring, must not be forgotten. Have a song in your heart. Teachthe dear little ones the preciousstory as written in the gospel of St.Luke 2: 1-14. Little lips can quick-ly follow it and the story will al-ways remain in their hearts. Do notforget the precious old carols andhymns. Have them learn these andsing uneder the Christmas tree. Thisshould come before the gjifts, along,of course, with the Christmas gos-pel. Your Christmas celebration inyour home will be far more brightand peaceful for so doing. It is notwhat you get, but what you givethat really counts. First of all wemust remember to give praise to Himwhose birth we celebrate. Gloryto God in the highest. How silentlly, how silentlyThe Avondrous gift is given! So God imparts to human heartsThe blessings of His heaven. No ear may hear His coming,But in this world of sin,Where meek souls will receive Him,Still the dear Christ enters in.
