Plenary 3: Joining forces for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals
The SDGs will cover a broad range of economic, social, environmental, energy and governance issues, that will apply to developing and industralized countries alike, and may also include targets with a direct impact on business and other stakeholder groups. Business can provide an extraordinary boost in realizing the SDGs through innovation, technology deployment, trade, and investment along their global value chains.To truly achieve the SDG goals and targets, the private sector needs to be included as an active and engaged partner.
