Archangel Cascades

These are the major cascades shortly before the Subway entrance. These were my favorite with its red layered rocks and the water flowing down in steps. To top it off the trees with yellow leaves and the glowing walls from the reflected sunlight were beautiful.

Instead of going for the close up view I decided to back off a few feet and include the beautiful row of fallen leaves as the foreground. I really like how the cascades almost alternate back and forth from left to right leading the viewer to the walls behind.

I had hoped to photograph the cascades again coming out of the Subway but after noon the sun had reached overhead and the cascades were blotted with sun spots. Nonetheless I came away with my shot :)
