    While shooting Valley View I saw the moon suddenly pop up over the glowing peaks. Upon seeing it I raced back to the car and switched to my tele lens. I quickly began snapping pictures of the rising moon sitting just above the glowing Cathedral Rocks at sunset. One of these days I'll have to figure out moonrise over Half Dome.
