2011 Youth Care Shelter Cleanup
On June 4, 2011, Intelius employees cleaned up YouthCare's Orion Shelter in Seattle. Volunteers cleaned, organized, restocked, sorted, folded laundry, picked up trash and painted over graffiti.

Here are a few words from the Intelius volunteers:

"We started our morning by getting a better education of who, what, when, and where the Orion Center impacts the youths on the streets of the Seattle area. I was most touched by the classrooms. I could just imagine what courage it would have to take to embrace the challenge and let down all guards to better yourself. I was touched by the room Intelius sponsors. Each team of students name themselves and set rules they agree to abide by while in class. Intelius gives them and opportunity for an education in addition to a common ground. Touching."

"I had a great time at the event! It was nice to see everything that the center provides to the youth. It’s more much than some warm food to eat and a place to stay for the night. The real emphasis is all geared toward solutions, not handouts.."
- Stanley Willoretta

"I really enjoyed my time there. It seems like a terrific organization, it was great to see the technology training center sponsored by Intelius, and the work we did was satisfying. I’d help those guys again in a second. In fact, I was inspired enough by their work that yesterday I signed up as a tutor for a summer reading program for at risk youth (different organization, but serving a similar population)."
