To learn if people want touchscreen capability on laptops, an Intel user experience team conducted user testing using a touchscreen laptop. In the tests, people spent 77% of the time touching the laptop screen while running through a variety of tasks like surfing the Web, watching online video, viewing and editing photos and adjusting the laptop’s setting.
