The cute can be..... Feeling relief that whit her you are not practicing your wide angle... And just try, men she will grow... Congratulations on your picture Sang.

Adorable - was this a straight softbox shot? I think your exposure and sense of composition are spot-on here. But I'd change a few things (if I may).

I don't like the little bit of glint off to the right-hand side... right by the edge of the frame; it's there but doesn't add anything so crop it out; you might even want to crop a bit down to avoid too much black space too (which will have the added benefit of focusing more on your subject).

I'd also have tried to flag the light from getting that glare on the bottom of the cushion; or at least take it's brightness down some in post since it's as bright as the kid and draws the eyes down some; where the focus should be right there on the kid.

BUT, when I focus in on the baby? Perfect photo.

Awesome photo. i don't have the technical know-how to comment on the lighting, but the baby is so adorable. I love it.

Seen next to a fellow photo of the group "Ottawa". (?)

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, this was shot with one softbox and a reflector camera right. To be honest it was a grab shot that turned out to be a keeper for me. I definitely agree about the glare on the right but I like that the other specular highlights give shape and texture to the couch. Tell you what, go ahead and edit let me know what you think. I'd love to see what you so with it (this goes for others as well). Ignore the copyright. I won't sue you. ;)

I definitely agree, this is a really great shot. I wish more people took this kind of approach to baby photography, instead f the same boring traditional studio shots. Fantastic job!

This is absolutely priceless! The expression on his face, and the fact that you were able to get that, amazing.

Awesome photo and the light is spot on.

Fun shot, beautifully lit and composed. Love the humour in the target mark on her head, and the contrast between the gangster-like black leather and the pure babyness of your subject :)

Thanks @marineavoile! She pretty much sums up "babiness" for us!
