Montgomery Fireworks 2016
It was perfect weather to celebrate America and celebrate we did!

Montgomery Township's Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Spectacular went off without a hitch. Jazz quintet Perfectly Sharp opened at 6 pm, a troupe from the Dance Factory strutted their stuff, and Just Duet - And Friends rocked the crowd past sundown. Siana Villaverde singing God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner gave us chills before the highlight of the evening - fireworks and lots of them! The grand finale was longer, louder and grander than ever, which we didn't think was possible!

The Montgomery Public Works Dept. kept the cars parking and did major set-up and clean-up. Police kept everything safe and secure. The extra buses added to shuttle folks back to cars at Upper Middle School really helped people to get home quicker this year. All the vendor tables were wonderful and the food was great. What more could we ask?

Special thanks to Fireworks Fundraising Chair George Jarvis and Committee and Montgomery Recreation Director Karen Zimmerman for another outstanding year. Happy Birthday America!
