Oh, a storm is threat'ning.

PLAYOFFS! My life has been nothing but baseball over the past month because my beloved Gigantes are making a run. I've missed two games this post-season, the G2 loss to Atlanta and the G1 win over the Rangers. And yesterday I got to go to my first World Series game ever. It was magical. Just magical. I love baseball so much.

It helps that the sky was moody as all get out. It felt like earthquake weather a bit in the South Bay yesterday afternoon as I was leaving work. More like hurricane weather up in the city proper. It ended up being a warm night - I didn't wear my coat or my blanket - and just, wow. They're playing great ball, they're getting good breaks. VAMOS GIGANTES.

You'll doubtless want to check this out a bit bigger. It's a tad crookedy (and the wires don't always match up - I think the sky cam thing was moving a bit), but I was trying to watch and shoot at the same time. The view from 315 is always gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. This is hella pictures stitched together, like maybe 10. I should've shot 'em portrait to make a taller pano. There's always next season, I guess.

    Also, this definitely happened.

    Hooker Pumps

I'm super superstitious. The Giants are I think now 9-2 when I wear those orange tights. Undefeated when I wear my favorite little black dress. Undefeated in those new pumps. It's one of those silly things that baseball fans get - the lucky clothes - and other people often don't. Oh well. If it's working it's working. GO GIANTS.

Definitely needs to be seen bigger.

What a game! And what cool clouds! I was on the other side of McCovey Cove, shooting and enjoying the energy (and smell of marijuana) coming from the crowd.

Funny you should mention earthquake weather. That's exactly what my friends and I said earlier in the afternoon. The air was so still, it felt ominous.
