Osterley Park, west London
Osterley Park is a National Trust-owned manor house, garden and park which was the seat of the earls of Jersey after they married into the Child banking family (they are now known as the Child-Villiers). Originally built in Tudor times, it was remodelled in the 18th century in the Palladian style using the services of Scottish architect Robert Adam and with artworks commissioned from Italian painter Antonio Zucchi. The house also has "costume days" in which female volunteers dress in period costumes and I visited on one of those days.
