Morning prayer at Damodar river, Rajarappa

Rajarappa is a small hamlet amidst jungles and hills, about 43 km from Ranchi, the capital city of the state of Jharkhand, India. The place is situated at the confluence of two rivers, the mighty Damodar and a small stream named Bhairabi. Here on the top of a small hill is a famous temple of the Hindu goddess Chhinnamasta. Apart from the principal temple of the goddess Chhinnamasta, there a re several other temples dedicated to several deities of the Hinduism. The natural beauty of the place is unparalleled, with the rivers flowing through rocky hills, a beautiful waterfalls created by the river Bhairabi where it joins Damodar, and the green forests surrounding the whole area.
