TTC Speeds

    Newer Older

All the TTC buses and streetcars traced for 6 hours the morning of January 6th, 2012. Average speed is indicated by colour, red being the slowest, followed by orange, yellow, green and blue.

Over 1,500 vehicles. Total distance travelled? Over 120,000 kms, about 3 times around the world.

Note: I'm certainly not the first to do this, just wanted to see what Toronto looked like. See Eric Fischer for the original.

Looks great! Are you using the NextBus data feed or does Toronto have another transit location archive?

Thanks! Nice to hear that coming for the guy who inspired the project.

Toronto is also on Nextbus, it rolled out about 6 months ago.
