spirit of silence

[week three of fifty two] - intense

This is one shot of the great shooting I had on Monday. It’s one of my favorites of the shooting. So I decided to upload this one for my project.

Today I feel happy and sad at the same time. I found a Polaroid camera in the cellar, now I wanna buy a film for this old piece of gold:) But there happened something horrible for me too…

My camera fell down with the Tamron 17-50 mm. The camera is unhurt but the Tamron focus works only very slowly and the zoom ring works only very hard…

I hope the damage can be repaired otherwise I have to look for another objective. Can you recommend a Canon objective with a similarly focal length? I don’t mind if it is a fixed focal length or a zoom. I think a 5D Mark II with the 24-70 mm L and the 70-200 mm L IS would be a great deal :D I only have to rob a bank or collect money ;) But even than my pictures wouldn’t be good enough for this equipment :D

Haha now I’m going to continue my fifty-two weeks project off a focal length of 85 mm.

So this is hopefully not the last shot with the Tamron but I am not optimistic that the repair costs worth paying. Now more than ever I want make more and more pictures. I only have to walk some meters backwards ;D

Oh yes I forgot to say that my mobile phone is broken too. Hell yeah, I am a walking disaster…

Have a nice week!:)
