Mount Shasta Climb, May 2014
Climbing Mount Shasta (elevation 14,162 feet) with Mike Chen. We camped one night at Sierra Club's Horse Camp (7880 feet elevation), then climbed 6300 feet net elevation gain to reach the summit in one day, via the standard Avalanche Gulch route. Weather was sunny but windy and cold. Very challenging but not technically difficult, climbing Mount Shasta is an amazing experience every time (this is my second time) - the views, the alpine feel, and the camaraderie of fellow climbers.

My first climb of Mount Shasta in 2006 with Albert, Eszter, Nora, Kassim, Rasool.
