I've just come back from a joyful weekend in Paris. I've had a great time just walking through Paris streets, having great food and... taking photographs.
Luckily enough to me, my friend and great photographer Sig just uploaded last week one of his best series: I saw Paris in B/W. That inspired me enough to take my Nikon D40 and my 50mm to Paris.
So, I've started the house by the roof uploading the latest photograph I took, while leaving Paris. I'll be uploading more in the next days.
I'll remark here the minimal setup I use for this series, just my 50mm f1.8 and my D40. Keep in mind that the D40 doesn't have an internal focusing motor and that means all these photographs have been taking in manual focus, in A mode or Manual Exposure mode. I'll try to limit postprocessing to a minimum: some cropping if required and colour adjustments. Less, is more.
