Hee hee hee...Now I know you're an expat, fur sur.

ILPARM is Latin American aristocracy. His parents sent him to private school in a black Benz 500SEC, with a driver wearing mirrored Ray Bans and a bodyguard packing an Uzi under his navy blue Valentino blazer. They'd stop at Ignacio's Deli on the way back home for ice cream - ILPARM always got to cut in front of the line, and Ignacio would always make sure he got extra sprinkles. There is something peculiar about the woman's head "disappearing" into the bushes (a little being John malkovich), but the pic is flawed. For me, I don't like the mans back at left. And perhaps some sort of gaze from dude in right would have made this stronger, or strong enough for a keep. Ditch
  • chris leising 4y

^^ the fact that the dude at right is not gazing at the woman makes this perfect. he's not even acknowledging her walking into the wall. that is the mundane, absurd beauty to this.

^ ya know, that's a good point and interesting way of looking at it. Let me mull it over...

    M. Aviña Wow- Kalvar's stuff is great. thanks.
  • chris leising 4y

agree that left could be better, but the ride side makes up in spades.
  • Carl 4y

Face plant. I can't help but imagine she is probably quite simply peering through the leaves at something moderately interesting inside. Maybe it's my sense of humour, or lack of. Close, but ditch.

Every character in this image is wrapped up in their own world, together but disconnected from one another. I like the implied humour of the woman's stance which adds to its general quirkiness. Keep.

I really hope this gets kept. The more I look at it, the more joy it brings.

I found it hilarious too..great timing, everything came up together for you this time..
    easy keep

There is an interesting moment here. I like the way the woman looks slumped against the wall as though she's been stuck there for some time. And here comes the surgeon who is going to perform the extraction. Shame his gaze seems slightly off. The left hand side could go. You have a wide frame here and a 3:2 crop would focus the energy. All in all though this has the ingredients so it's a keep.
  • William Kurtz 4y

Momentary weirdness is amusing but it doesn't have legs and the left-side doesn't hold interest. Ditch.

Looks like the lady wants to escape to another dimension. Keep

i found the woman bizzare but the mr back doesn't contribute. it was a poor choice when you went with the cinematic crop.

Strange in just the way I like it. The diagonal of the three slightly unusual facial expressions and the woman are great. Back-man is really annoying, especially since he's so tight and sliced in that corner - almost ruins the whole thing. It's good though and I'm not going to be the one to ditch10 this.

I like it! People trying to go about their business as if the woman doesn't actually have her face in a wall. Fun!
