In June 2014 the fight to end modern slavery gained a powerful tool: the ILO Protocol on Forced Labour. But before this new international treaty enters into force, it needs to be ratified by countries.
50forFreedom is a global campaign by the ILO, together with the International Trade Union Confederation and the International Organisation of Employers, to mobilize public support as part of the push to get at least 50 countries to ratify the Protocol by 2018.
