i was there .. i know how hard was i to take this shot.. with all this people walking through..... cant they see, there is art at its most spontaneous moment. Both of them were moving, so it was hard to take the picture.. this photo makes me feel sorry for this two persons wearing this two blue coats sitting at separated sites, Friday night when all other on their way to have fun.

    Spectacular - i like it.

p.s. this blue and yellow colors all over the picture is ... is like a movie shot where all planed and all colors adjusted to the mood.

This is a really great photo. The 'I'm Lovin it' caption is pure irony too! Nice work!!!

When I look at this photo, it makes me think of... Edward Hopper - immediately - before I even read the description.

I think this photo is about... creating a modern version of Nighthawks at the Diner; a homage to being alone while being with other people

Technically, It'd be unfair to be on this photo for being too noisy - it was taken with a camera phone, afterall. The awesome bit is that, while I don't know how much post-processing you've done on this, you get the very distinct Nighthawks feel

What I like about this photo is that it's such an obvious homage - and the inclusion of the McDonalds logo amplifies the effect very nicely. It's a small masterpiece, and I think it's worth going back to here with a proper camera, a tripod, and some patience, to see if you can capture it (HDR opportunity, perhaps?) again in higher quality.

If I were to improve or change anything, I would re-shoot it with a better camera, just to get the sharpness right. Also, it's worth bringing a polarizer along, to see if you can reduce the reflections of the outside world from the photo (should be possible to remove completely, actually, with a good polarizer filter).

If you're feeling inspired, you might even consider planting people in the restaurant yourself, and do it properly, with them dressed in Hopper-era clothing - the guy on the right has a fantastic Six Feet Under-esque comb-over - the lady in the background is looking too modern - her in a tidy little 1950s dress would really add to this photo.

If you really want to go all-out, bring portable, remote-controllable flashguns with you, to ensure that the people are lit up separately - you may find that McD aren't too pleased about allowing such a project, but if so, show them this photo as the concept, bring a print of Nighthawks, and see if you can't arrange it.

Overall, I love that you managed to spot and capture this photo; any faults with it are fixable by going back and doing it again - I'm hella inspired by this idea, which is more than you can say about most photos I see here on Flickr :)

Finally, if you fancy it, why not add this photo to the Flickr pool?

This is a Photocritic photo critique. If you want one, too, check out my photo critiques page. Also, why not make Flickr a better place for photographers by doing photo critiques yourself, too? Go on, you know you want to...
